Tower Rush FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Tower Rush Game by Galaxsys

This is a full and complete Tower Rush guide that covers everything about how it works, including how rounds work and the role bonus floors play; how good the demo version is; how to find a good casino to play for real money; and how we, Tower Rush Guide, work. Each topic is covered in its own section, so you can quickly navigate to whatever you need to know about Tower Rush.

Game Mechanics and Rules

What actually happens during a round of Tower Rush? â–Ľ
Place a bet of $0.10-100 and then click Build, and your tower climbs up floor by floor. With every floor your tower reaches, your current multiplier increases. You may click Cash Out at any time during your round to collect the amount you bet multiplied by your current multiplier. If the tower crashes before you have cashed out, you lose your wager. The round is played out according to a set of pre-determined parameters, so where the tower crashes is decided at the beginning of each round and locked in using the Provably Fair system. You cannot influence the outcome of a round, but you can time your cash out in an attempt to maximise your potential win.
Is there an auto cash-out option? â–Ľ
There's no auto cash-out feature in Tower Rush. You must cash out manually with a single click at your chosen multiplier. This is the way Galaxsys intended for the game to be played when it was first released. Auto cash-outs are a feature you'll find in most crash games, where they set a multiplier at which they are willing to cash out, then allow them to sit back and play without further action. This feature is not available with Tower Rush.
Can I change my stake once a round has started? â–Ľ
No, once you click the Build button in the round you've placed, you are stuck with that stake amount. You cannot change the stake for that round, and you cannot take a pause mid-round to adjust the stake either. Once you click Cash Out, you cannot change your mind and try for more, and you also cannot pause. Your only chance to pick the right stake amount is right before the round begins.
What does the Provably Fair system actually do? â–Ľ
It means all results, including the exact floor where the tower will crash, are determined and locked in before the round even begins. After every round, you can also carry out an independent verification check in the game help panel to ensure that the result was not tampered with. The system is also independently audited by GLI and Gaming Associates.
What is the maximum possible win in Tower Rush? â–Ľ
The max win for Tower Rush is limited to 100x. With a max bet of $100, you would win $10,000 in one round. If you do reach 100x, you're cashing out automatically. 100x isn't the standard; you'll usually be lucky to reach x6 or x8, so reaching x100 will require you to hit a temple floor in the later stages of the round, or get a triple build on a higher tower.
What does “high volatility” mean for this game in practice? ▼
The outcomes are weighted towards a range of floors. You'll get a long string of results crashing on two or three floors and then another set that reaches 15x or 20x or more. Neither is a predictor of what will happen on the next spin. So, from a money management standpoint, you will need a larger cushion compared to a lower volatility game, and you could go through an entire session of play that has little to do with what your average return will actually be.
What is the RTP and what does it mean for my session? â–Ľ
The officially certified RTP is between 96.17% and 97%. Basically, this means that over a long period of time, you can expect to earn between $96.17 and $97 for every $100 you bet. For a single session, however, the volatility is high enough that you might win or lose quite a bit. RTP simply indicates the average over a large number of games.
How is Tower Rush different from a slot machine? â–Ľ
With slots, you spin the reels and wait to see what you get. With Tower Rush, there is no waiting required; you are in control of every floor and what you do on it. This is important because while the RNG generates the random numbers in advance, it is up to you to decide if you will cash out or keep going up to the next floor; the slots don’t offer a choice like that.
Does the multiplier increase by a fixed amount each floor? â–Ľ
Not necessarily; the RNG is used to randomly generate multipliers within the preset range for each level. This is why it might seem odd to see players on the same tower floor with completely different multipliers – it’s simply because the RNG increased them by different amounts on previous floors.
Can I pause a round once it has started? â–Ľ
When you choose to Build, you are playing that round through to completion until you either decide to cash out or the tower falls on you.

Bonus Floors

How does the Frozen Floor work? â–Ľ
When you land on a Frozen Floor, your multiplier for the current tower level is locked and safe. This means you will get the prize for your current multiplier even if the tower collapses on the next level. If you move to a higher level past your frozen one, though, and the tower falls two or more levels after that, you forfeit both your current multiplier and your wager.
Does the Frozen Floor mean I should keep building? â–Ľ
The Frozen Floor guarantees that you will receive your current multiplier if the tower falls on you immediately. However, once you advance beyond that level, you are playing with your wager in play. Some players will see their frozen floor is at a high multiplier and may be more interested in seeing how far they can get; others might think the frozen one isn’t that great, and they will cash out before it even happens. But again, it’s your call.
How does the Temple Floor multiplier calculation work? â–Ľ
The multiplier you get on a temple floor is based on how you roll on the wheel that multiplies your current floor multiplier between 2 and 20. For instance, if your floor multiplier was 8x and you landed on 15, you would then win 120 (not 23). At higher starting multipliers, this is where it matters the most. You will always see a multiplier on the result of the wheel of at least 2x, so it never goes to zero, and always multiplies up from there. Temple Floor has been independently audited by Gaming Associates and GLI.
Can the Temple Floor push me past the 100x cap? â–Ľ
The answer is yes, but if your result is greater than 100x, then you will only get 100x back on your bet, and the round ends. You are most likely to see Temple Floor at the 100x cap, especially if you’ve made it later in the round with a base multiplier already high.
What does Triple Build do exactly? â–Ľ
It adds three floors at once with three different multiplier amounts. The impact that a Triple Build will have is later in the round, and if you have a multiplier built up, then adding 3 floors in one shot can compound on other floors, which is one of the reasons why you will see Triple Build as the main route to 100x.
When is Triple Build most and least valuable? â–Ľ
When you see it later in the round, where the multiplier has built up, then you add three floors to say a 20x multiplier, which is a much greater value than 3 floors on a 2x. It’s always valuable, even if the multiplier is low; just the impact will be less if it’s early in the round, but it adds to your multiplier all the same.
Can more than one bonus floor appear in a single round? â–Ľ
No, it’s only one bonus floor per round. There is no bonus floor stacking in one game.
Does a bonus floor appearing tell me anything about collapse risk? â–Ľ
No. A bonus floor and collapse are triggered by separate RNGs. If you see a Frozen Floor, you have no guarantee that the tower won’t collapse in the following rounds, and the same if you see Triple Build, there is no guarantee you’re safe to keep on going. Both of these events are all about multipliers, not when the game is going to end.
How often do bonus floors appear? â–Ľ
This is unknown since Galaxsys does not give us the probability of each type of bonus floor, but they will appear between round two and the final round. Don’t count on it being due just because it hasn’t been hit for several rounds. The RNGs have no memory of what has happened previously.
What happens if I cash out on a floor where a bonus is about to trigger? â–Ľ
The cashout wins; the round ends, you keep what you’ve made on the previous floor, and the bonus floor event does not trigger. So if you queue a Temple Floor and then cash out before the wheel gets spun, you won’t spin the wheel.

Demo Mode

Is the demo the same game as the real-money version? â–Ľ
Yes. It runs on the identical game engine, the same RNG (random number generator), and offers the same RTP (return-to-player) interval of 96.17–97%. All three tiers of the bonus system are enabled and behave exactly as they do in the paid version. The sole distinction is that any credits in the demo are virtual and can’t be cashed out.
Do I need a casino account to play the demo? â–Ľ
Most casinos don’t require one. In those cases, you’re able to click on the demo version as soon as you see its tile on their site, without having to sign up. Some will ask that you log in just to play the demo, but it’ll remain free of charge. Should a casino insist that you first deposit funds to activate the demo mode, beware: that is a major red flag.
Can I win real money in the demo? â–Ľ
No, demo credits have no real monetary value. No cash withdrawals are permitted from winnings in demo mode, and demo play is never applied toward bonus wagering conditions.
How many demo rounds should I play before switching to real money? â–Ľ
As a rule of thumb, the minimum should be in the neighborhood of 20–30 demo rounds. Anything less than that fails to provide a large enough sample to make reasonable changes with a game as volatile as this one. You must witness the breadth of possible variations in advance if you want to be truly ready. It costs nothing to try the demo mode, and thus no reason to rush it.
What’s the point of the demo if the pressure is different from real money? ▼
This is about training good habits. In the demo, you can decide the target multiplier in advance, and you can withdraw at that level every time, without modifying your strategy during the game. A similar procedure in the real money version would also be helpful. The pressure will not feel as heavy (say, if the game pays out 5x and you cash it out) as it does in the real game with real money, but the practice will carry over.
Does demo play count toward casino bonuses or wagering requirements? â–Ľ
No, demo play is completely removed from real money gaming. You are never allowed to apply any winnings, losses, or round totals in the demo to bonus terms and wagering requirements, or to any bonus conditions that a casino may offer you.
What happens when my demo credits run out? â–Ľ
You will be refilled after only a few seconds, each time you reach zero. A limit to the demo does not exist, nor are there other restrictions that would prohibit the demo’s play. If the demo is somehow inaccessible, it’s likely that either you are on a casino that doesn’t maintain a good reputation, or that is a fraud itself.
Can the demo be used as a diagnostic tool for tilt? â–Ľ
Yes. Once you’ve played for real money and are losing, play 10 to 15 rounds on demo with a target amount that you plan to cash out at. If you find that you’re unable to cash out when you hit your target, but you continue the round, or you convince yourself that the multiplier “must be coming soon,” you’re in a bad place mentally and unable to stick to your strategy. Demo can’t help you overcome the tilt, but it is a tool that shows you when you are tilting.
Is there any value in using the demo as an experienced player? â–Ľ
It does. It can be used for testing out a new target strategy, getting a feel for the slot before you play for real, or recalibrating after a string of losses. Any mental exercise you do with the game, you can do with the demo.

Mobile and Desktop Play

Is there a dedicated Tower Rush app to download? â–Ľ
No. Tower Rush is an HTML5 game, and you will play it via your casino’s app or within any mobile browser. You will not need an app and will not find one. No downloads, no updates, no installation, it just works.
Does the mobile version have the same RTP and mechanics as the desktop? â–Ľ
Yes. There are no changes to RTP, mechanics, or visuals, and it is the same regardless of whether you play on a phone, tablet, or laptop. The RTP is 96.17-97% either way, and you can play all three bonus floors. There are no changes to the Provably Fair system of random number generation. The only difference is portrait mode on mobile, which fits the game better.
What’s the best browser for iOS? ▼
Safari is the best browser for iOS, and Tower Rush works on an iPhone and iPad with near app-like performance. Using Chrome on iPhone or iPad will have a tiny delay due to how Apple handles third-party apps in iOS. For the best experience, add the casino site to your home screen. You will then have a web app that has fast loading and is full-screen.
What’s the best browser for Android? ▼
For playing HTML5 games on Android, Chrome is the best option, as long as you use the most recent version. Older versions of the browser may have loading issues. If you are experiencing slow loads, clear the Chrome cache and restart the browser. Make sure that hardware acceleration is activated in the Chrome settings menu (Settings → Advanced → Use hardware acceleration when available), which will improve performance on slower devices.
Is the casino app version different from the mobile browser version? â–Ľ
Yes. No differences between the two. Since the mobile app runs Tower Rush inside a WebView, the gameplay feels virtually the same as on the browser. The only practical advantage you'll likely notice is that the app remembers your login, so you won't have to sign in again. Keep in mind that the app might feel a bit slower to boot up initially because it has to display any current promotions before you can access the game itself. In short, they are basically the same game.
What happens if I get a phone call during a round? â–Ľ
Most mobile browsers will pause the game and move it to the background when a call comes in. Once you finish your call, simply reopen the browser to resume playing immediately (be careful not to exit the browser entirely). If you return to find the round has already finished, check your betting history to confirm your result. Do not force close the application.
The game won’t load on my phone. What should I try? ▼
If Tower Rush refuses to load on your phone, first verify that your internet connection is working properly. Attempt switching back and forth between your WiFi and cellular data. If the problem continues, you may need to wipe your browser's cache. It's also worth attempting the game in a different browser. Safari tends to offer the smoothest experience on iOS, while Chrome is usually superior on Android; if you're having trouble on either of those, try another one. If you're still stuck, make sure the casino actually hosts the Galaxsys edition of the game and that your location is one where Tower Rush is available.
The game froze during a round. What do I do? â–Ľ
Don't shut down the game. A freeze typically lasts only a few seconds, usually caused by a connection hiccup that the game handles internally without requiring a manual refresh. Once your connection is back up, look over your bet history. A properly regulated, licensed casino will either automatically resolve or refund the bet. If your bet doesn't show up, contact the casino's support staff and provide the stake size and the exact time the round took place.
The cash-out button isn’t responding to my tap. What should I do? ▼
Press the cash-out button with one solid, straight tap. Sliding your finger across the button will not work; it needs you to hold a specific spot. If you experience multiple rounds where the button isn't registering your touch, try playing on a different browser. On iOS, reloading the Safari page usually resolves the issue. As a final step, clear the casino's site data and cookies.
Is desktop or mobile better for Tower Rush? â–Ľ
There isn't a "better" version. Having a desktop allows for a larger screen, which makes it a bit easier to spot higher multipliers and monitor bonus features. If you plan on playing for an extended period, a desktop is generally the better choice. However, mobile is ideal for short, casual sessions, and the phone screen's vertical layout matches the tower perfectly. Honestly, the vast majority of players won't care which platform they use.

Casinos, Accounts, and Payments

Is Tower Rush available at every online casino? â–Ľ
No, not everyone. Galaxsys offers its game to a variety of operators. Only licensed casinos (that are currently licensed with Galaxsys) offer this game. So if a casino is saying it has the game Tower Rush, but it’s not certified (Galaxsys as per game info in the menu), it’s not a Galaxsys game.
How do I verify a casino is running the real Galaxsys version? â–Ľ
Open the game, go to info/help in the game, Galaxsys, and its certifications will show. If they do not, it is better not to play it. You can also check if the game is available to play for free (demo) in licensed casinos, as you are always offered the free play option in a Galaxsys licensed casino in the Tower Rush game.
Which casino licenses offer the most player protection? â–Ľ
MGA (Malta Gaming Authority) and UKGC (United Kingdom Gambling Commission) have the best player protection because they offer a formal process of dispute resolution by an ombudsman. HGC (Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission) is also good to have. Curaçao has a Master license, which has limited options for recourse, and all the sub-licenses do not offer player protection. You can check the license of any licensed casino via the respective regulator's website.
Can the RTP differ between casinos for the same game? â–Ľ
Of course it can. Galaxsys lets the casino owners choose the RTP of the Tower Rush slots from the licensed range (96.17–97%). Two licensed casinos may give you different RTP percentages when providing the same Galaxsys title. You can check the current RTP value in the info menu of the game. If it is missing, you should ask via the live chat for proof of RTP.
What’s the fastest payment method for withdrawing Tower Rush winnings? ▼
The accepted e-wallets, such as Skrill, Neteller, etc., are generally considered a go-to for speed by most licensed casinos. They can usually process a withdrawal within a few hours of being approved. Crypto withdrawals are usually faster if available in a licensed casino. Although wire transfer is reliable for large sums, it is not recommended for small or medium withdrawals due to a relatively long waiting period of about 2–5 days for processing.
What is KYC verification and when do I need to do it? â–Ľ
A process to verify your identity, also known as Know Your Customer (KYC), is necessary if the casino has proper licensing. Casinos will not pay you until they can verify your identity (i.e., you upload your proof of ID, proof of address, etc). While the process of KYC is easy, timing matters. Many casinos allow you to register and deposit first, only starting the review of your proof documents once you initiate a withdrawal, in which case, you are stuck waiting days before receiving your cash. Therefore, it’s important to do a KYC as soon as you create an account and before you deposit to a casino.
How should I think about casino bonuses when playing Tower Rush? â–Ľ
Crucially, bonus contributions for crash games can shift. In rare cases, the crash games category doesn't count at all toward your playthrough requirements – your Tower Rush activity counts for zero. Sometimes you'll see a 25% or 10% contribution rate instead of 100% – your Tower Rush wagers will be partially counted. On rare occasions, they contribute 100% on par with slots and video poker games. Look closely at the bonus terms at every casino that has a crash games library before taking any offers. Also, be sure to note that deposit bonuses are the lowest payout rate option in Tower Rush. Look instead for loss rebates or casino cashback if playing Tower Rush, since deposit bonuses rarely provide the best player value.
What should I do if a casino delays or refuses my withdrawal? â–Ľ
First, save the relevant screenshots and email exchanges with support. Next, write your casino and ask for your payout to be processed within X days based on their T&C. If you haven't received your winnings by the time listed, contact the casino licensing organization. MGA and UKGC both have mechanisms to handle these types of complaints, so take action sooner rather than later to give you more options.
Does playing Tower Rush earn loyalty or VIP points? â–Ľ
Depends on the casino. Typically, crash games are either ineligible for loyalty points or award points more slowly. Always ask the casino for a detailed response should it impact your decisions. Ask for support if you're not getting a straight answer.

Responsible Gambling

Is Tower Rush a high-risk game from a responsible gambling perspective? â–Ľ
It definitely has some characteristics that warrant consideration. The very high volatility means your account balance can take sharp turns up or down in a single round, and each round plays out in under 60 seconds, so it's very easy to lose count of how much you've spent on bets. There's no auto cashout feature, so you make a cashout decision in every round. The game isn't unplayable, but you will be better off putting your own strict spending and time limits in place before you start playing rather than making ad hoc adjustments as the game progresses.
What responsible gambling tools should I use before playing Tower Rush? â–Ľ
You should set at least a daily/weekly/monthly deposit limit and a timer-based session limit before starting your first round (and not as an afterthought after you start). At a minimum. If you are a player at a licensed casino site, you may also be able to set up loss limits or opt for a cool-down break period (self-imposed); these should also be pre-set before starting your game at all (check your casino settings area for these options). Do not leave it until your current losing streak has started and you have already been emotionally affected.
What is self-exclusion and how do I use it? â–Ľ
Self-exclusion will give you the option to close your access to a casino for a period of time or permanently; this feature will be available to you in the responsible gaming settings of your online casino account (with some operators, you can also request this feature from customer service). The UK, for example, has a single self-exclusion feature that can be set up at GamStop (gamstop.co.uk), covering all the major licensed operators. There are also similar self-exclusion features available in other jurisdictions, such as:
• CRUKS (Netherlands)
• Spelpaus (Sweden)
• ROFUS (Denmark)
• Oasis (Germany).
How do I know if my gambling is becoming a problem? â–Ľ
Some potential warning signs you might be developing a problem are: betting more money than you initially wanted; spending more time playing gambling games than you wanted; having trouble leaving games because you are trying to make back money you have lost previously; finding yourself thinking a lot about gambling when you are not playing games; feeling a need to keep your gambling activity hidden from friends and family; gambling creating financial problems for you and/or affecting relationships or employment for you; gambling making you borrow money in an effort to regain money you have already lost. Learning to identify warning signs and getting help early can make a world of difference to you.
Does the fast round cycle of Tower Rush create extra risk? â–Ľ
You should definitely be aware of this. It takes less than a minute for each round. At a $1 bet per round, a 10-minute session will see you wagering some 20 times (total $20) and putting that amount on the line. This game is meant to be fast, because it is so much fun, but with this very fast mechanic, you could end up wagering and risking far more in a short period of time than you originally intended without a session budget.
Can demo mode help with responsible play? â–Ľ
Yes. Playing 10–15 demo rounds at a given profit goal before playing with real money is a great diagnostic test to see if you are hitting your preset goal or making excuses. If you can't adhere to your demo goal, you certainly won't adhere to it if it's actual money. This isn't a definitive cure for tilt, but it can make you aware of the tilt and give you time to fix it before you deposit real cash.
What should I do if I lose more than I planned? â–Ľ
Just turn off the game. The easiest way to turn a small loss into a big one is to play a high-variance slot to chase your losses. Some casinos will offer a deposit limit to stop you spending over the next 24 hours, or a cooling-off period. If you have this problem more than a few times, take action and limit your deposits. If the issue is impacting your life outside of casino gaming, it may help to speak to your GP for a support group recommendation. Catching the issue sooner rather than later makes a huge difference.
Where can I get help if gambling is causing harm? â–Ľ
These are all free resources in most countries:
• United Kingdom: GamCare – gamcare.org.uk | Helpline: 0808 802 0133 (free, 24/7)
• United Kingdom: BeGambleAware – begambleaware.org
• International: Gambling Therapy - gamblingtherapy.org (free multilingual counselling)
• United States: National Council on Problem Gambling – 1-800-522-4700
• Peer support globally: Gamblers Anonymous – gamblersanonymous.org
If you don't live in these countries, contact a local healthcare provider.
Is Tower Rush suitable for first-time crash game players? â–Ľ
The game is simple to learn but not simple to master. The game mechanics are intuitive, and the game is fast-paced, but the high variance and manual cash-outs can surprise a new player. It's best to play in demo for 20–30 rounds before playing for real money; keep your bets at a minimum of $0.10; decide on a cash out value for every spin (even the ones you're afraid to lose), before you start; and set a loss limit you're willing to lose before you play the very first spin. It's not a complex game. It's discipline to stay within your comfort zone.
